Version 1.0 · Effective 13 May 2026
Child Safety Standards
Important notice
This document is a foundational legal draft for the COOKING CLASS platform and should be reviewed by a licensed legal professional in every country or region where the app operates. COOKING CLASS is a dating and social interaction platform. Because dating products involve user-generated content, communication systems, payments, moderation, safety risks, identity concerns, and sensitive personal data, legal review is strongly recommended before launch.
1. Scope & Applicability
These Child Safety Standards apply to Cooking Class (also referred to as COOKING CLASS), the dating and social platform operated by Tiny Clan Africa. They describe our policies and practices against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
Cooking Class is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. Age-gating does not reduce our obligation to prevent, detect, remove, and report CSAE/CSAM when we become aware of it.
2. Definitions
CSAE means child sexual abuse and exploitation, including content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children. Examples include grooming a child for sexual exploitation, sextorting a child, trafficking a child for sex, or otherwise sexually exploiting a child.
CSAM means child sexual abuse material: any visual depiction (including photos, videos, and computer-generated imagery) involving a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct. CSAM is illegal and strictly prohibited on Cooking Class.
3. Zero Tolerance for CSAE & CSAM
Cooking Class prohibits all CSAE and CSAM. Users may not create, upload, share, solicit, store, or distribute such content, or engage in related conduct, including grooming, exploitation, or attempts to involve minors.
- Underage accounts and profiles representing minors are not allowed
- Sexual content involving anyone under 18 is not allowed
- Attempts to contact, solicit, or exploit minors are not allowed
- Links or referrals to CSAE/CSAM off-platform are not allowed
4. Prevention Measures
We use a combination of product controls, moderation, and user tools to reduce risk:
- 18+ eligibility and age confirmation at registration
- In-app reporting and blocking
- Human review of user reports, with AI-assisted moderation signals where available
- Account restriction, suspension, or permanent ban for policy violations
- Removal of prohibited content when we obtain actual knowledge of it
5. How Users Report Child Safety Concerns
Users can report child safety concerns without leaving the app. Use Report on a profile (or related in-app report flows) and choose a child safety / underage reason when available, or describe the concern in the report details. Users may also block the other person.
Reports are reviewed by our moderation team. Serious child safety reports are prioritized. If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first, then report in-app and/or email our child safety contact below.
6. How We Respond to CSAM & CSAE
When we obtain actual knowledge of CSAM or CSAE on Cooking Class, we take appropriate action consistent with these standards and applicable law, which may include:
- Removing the content and restricting or banning involved accounts
- Preserving relevant records as required for legal or law-enforcement purposes
- Reporting to regional or national child protection authorities or designated hotlines (for example NCMEC Cybertip, INHOPE member hotlines, or other competent authorities)
- Cooperating with lawful requests from law enforcement and regulators
7. Legal Compliance
Cooking Class complies with applicable child safety laws in the jurisdictions where we operate, including obligations to remove CSAM when we have actual knowledge of it and to report to authorities where required. These standards are informed by industry guidance such as the Tech Coalition child safety standards.
8. Child Safety Point of Contact
